LOST PETS

Informational support for pet owners looking for their lost pet.

Unfortunately, more and more applications are coming from people who lost their animals during evacuation in Ukrainian cities, at the border or in the country of temporary stay. However, there are also many stories of happy reunions, so in no case should you lose hope and stop searching.

The following measures should be taken (if possible):

If the place where the animal disappeared is known exactly, you need to search all the surrounding areas. Also, a dog or cat tends to return to the place where they were last with a person. Therefore, the owner or another person the animal knows should wait in such a place.
If the animal has disappeared abroad - register a report about the missing animal in the national database of missing and found animals in the country of temporary stay.
Call the local police.
Notify neighbors, community, local animal services.
Distribute wanted posters with a picture of the animal and contact information.
Distribute and regularly repeat announcements with the photo of the animal and the contact details of the owners on Internet resources dedicated to finding lost animals.
